You know I’m a pumpkin lover, but some people coming to your fete may not. Personalize this sweet and simple pie to whatever your pantry or guests love most. It’s a beauty for the dessert spread, a real crowd pleaser and for those who are in charge of food this Thurs, IT’S A CINCH!
Party Bar Pie
Makes one 10” pie, serves 8-10
8.8oz sleeve Biscoff cookies, ground finely
1 stick butter, melted
2 cups buttery crackers, lightly crushed
1 cup other crunchy things- cookies, pretzels, cereal, etc (I used pretzels!)
¾ cup chocolate bits or chips (I used white chocolate and butterscotch)
14 oz can sweetened condensed milk (just short of 1 can)
Heat the oven to 375F, grease a 10” pie dish.
Mix ground cookies and butter together and press evenly into the base and up the sides of the wall of dish.
Scatter crackers, crunchy things and chocolatey things into the base of the dish. Drizzle sweetened condensed milk over the surface and bake 375F 20-25 minutes until the milky gloss turns a caramel brown.
